Templates: pick fields from the SR 2025 structure of the message type, kept in standard order.

What it does

A template is the set of fields a message carries: a basic MT900 or one with its ordering institution, an MT940 with statement lines and narratives, forward balances or split across pages. You choose from the fields the standard allows for that type; SwiftStory keeps them in the order the standard prescribes and shows a sample message as you go.

How it works

The SR 2025 structure

Mandatory, optional and repeating fields per message type, including the optional 13D of MT900 and MT910 and the 86 that follows each statement line of an MT942.

One of a pair

Choices such as 60F or 60M, 62F or 62M and 52A or 52D are offered as alternatives, never both, and an MT910 must name its ordering customer or institution.

Sample as you build

A sample message renders beside the template, so you see exactly what it will produce.

In Swiftly's naming: 900_basic+52A, 940_full+61+61_86+64+65+86, 940_page_first and the rest.
